Falling in love with Canada

In Canada the sky seems closer to the earth. In this wonderful world of nature it also amazes me how intensely blue the sky can be. I think this is how blue is supposed to be. When you look at it, it gives you this feeling of awe.

The feeling of awe for a country like this is so well expressed in these lyrics:

"Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth

The rainstorm and the river are our brothers
The heron and the otter are our friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a loop that never ends..............

You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew.........."

And you do, you just have to give yourself a chance and some time.
Canadians are very friendly and polite. They are not so obsessed with time as the people in the USA, which gives you a sense of freedom.

Canada is a very big country, not in population but in size. And there are two things I would recommend you try. One of them is to join a Canadian River Expedition This is an adventure you will never forget.

Don't forget to shop for
travel accessories, luggage tags, tsa locks, security belts, converters

The second one is to experience the most spectacular train trip in your life going through the Rocky Mountains . It is truly breathtaking. When you go to Paris you visit the Eiffeltower and when you come to Canada you take this train trip through the Rockies.

In 1979 I was in Canada for the first time, for a year and I loved it. I believe in the Law of Attraction, because 20 years later I was able to come back and live here. I did not only fall in love with Canada all over again, but also with Livingstone Beaumont, my new partner and well known actor.

The area we live in, close to the Niagara River is famous in history because of the War of 1812 (Fort Erie) and the Underground Railroad that helped a lot of slaves to safety and freedom. If you want to know more about Underground Railroad, there is a movie(Livingstone is in this movie) and a book available.
